USB Port of my Seagate Expansion portable hard disc got loose and went inside

Hello,
So, IDK how but when I unplugged the cable from my hdd, i saw the port was deep in there.
I had not connected it to anything then.

I dont wanna loose my data the third time! Seagate is a sucking company.

I had the same problem before and they erased everything to repair it.

It's still in the warranty period but before going to the company I wanna know if I can open it some how and first back up my freakin 450 GB worth of important data.

I tried to open it (it doesn't have any screws) and I ended up hurting my nails.
Can someone please guide me the way for openin it and backing my data up.

The case is probably glued together. You would have to destroy it with some tools carefully to get inside.

After that you could either mount it in a normal computer or buy a hard drive case.

will it be safe if I do it?
