USB ports can not recognize devices

Maybe a driver issue. What laptop, and which ports? Are they USB3 ports? (Blue plastic)

I think it is a driver problem. But I can not find the drivers. The Laptop is Acer Aspire 5742. It is the two USB ports on the right which are not working

If your OS is 64bit, try the chipset drivers

These are for Windows 7, if you have problems loading them, right click the file and choose 'Troubleshoot Compatibility'

Yes, my OS is 64bits, and the chipset drivers above are found to be incompatible after troubleshoot compatibility.

OK. Did you try 'Troubleshoot Compatibility' then 'Troubleshoot Program' and choose 'Program worked in earlier versions' etc. 'Windows 7'? If so, when you tested the Program, what were the results?
