USB Ports Don't Work

Hey guys, so i have been having this issue with my ASUS-G75VW laptop where my USB ports don't work anymore, i know it is the drivers because all 4 of my ports aren't working, the strange thing is that when i plug in my mouse or my cooler it does in fact power them up, but while i does power them up they don't seem to work, well at least my mouse doesn't since my cooler only requires power. Same thing for my xbox controller, it lights up occasionally signifying it has power but doesn't work. I have tried everything and i mean everything, installing drivers, uninstalling and rebooting my pc, everything you can imagine i have tried but i wanted to see if i could get some help based around the issues i'm having.

Note: Everything works fine except for my USB ports

i did try that and what happens is i go back to check if its worked and i see the same thing i saw originally with the yellow symbol

yes i have been installing the correct ones but i keep getting the same thing, the only thing i need fixed is my USB ports

did the usbs work before? I am wondering if your power supply may be going out. Are the connectors for the USB port headers inserted properly? I would try installing a set of USB ports to one of the USB headers and see if it works. if it does, then install the connectors onto the next USB header and see if it works. if the usb work, then the problem is not with the headers.do the other connectors from the front panel work? if the uSBs don't work, then it is possibly a problem with your motherboard.
