USB Ports Issues

Have an HP desktop, Windows Vista, All USBs stop working cannot trouble shoot because mouse and keyboard are USB. No PS2 ports. Need help.

Remove the other USB devices and only have the mouse and keyboard connected. If that works then consider that the PSU is not providing extra power for those other devices, on the 5v rail.
