I have had this problem for quite a long time now. I cant recreate the problem and i cant fix it with my knowledge or by googling it. So the problem is that at random times all of the usb ports disconnect and reconnect (feels like the disconnect/reconnect rate increases after 1st disconnect ) including my wlan thingy i use to connect to the wlan itself(cant remember its name 😛 ) and cause of that it is VERY annoying. It shouldnt be power options cause anymore since i think i have checked every goddamn button i could find. Also i have this suspicion that in december when i updated my win10 the problem came up soon after that, tho i dont mean the fault wouldnt be in PSU. I just changed motherboard/cpu/cooler and its still doing this....

Solution
Try using a mains-powered external USB hub as your symptoms are typical of USB ports having insufficient power to drive multiple devices simultaneously.

Also worth mentioning, when you change the motherboard it's advisable to perform a fresh Windows install, even for Windows 10.

Im using usb hub with its own power source. But i do admit i have a lot of stuff plugged to usb ports. I have 7 usbs plugged to pc (1 of them is the hub) and also my wifi connector thingy, on the hub i have 5 usbs connected so it might easily be too much but now i have stripped some usbs off and i will see some easy method to plug few things off since the reason i have this many usbs is my "sim racing seat" which has its own keyboards and stuff which all connect to the usb hub and so on.

My problem with this was solved. Two tools helped troubleshoot the problem.

I started by using USB DeView
https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html

With it, I could see Port_#0002.Hub_#0002 as the one constantly connecting and disconnecting (the Connected column showing yes/no).

The Windows Club has an article for the 2nd tool:
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/usb-device-tree-viewer-download

and a link to the USB Device Tree Viewer from that article:
https://www.uwe-sieber.de/usbtreeview_e.html

It was with Device Tree View, I was able to look at all USB Hubs, with their sub ports.

One port showed with an exclamation, it was a "Port_#0002" (or just port 2), but nothing clearly indicated that root hub as Hub_#0002. What I did see on that same root hub but in a different port was my Logitech unifying dongle.

That dongle was plugged into the back of my motherboard and pulling that confirmed I was in the correct area.

At that time I caught a glimpse of the port 2 (the one with the exclamation mark) change to have an expansion marker ("+") and when I clicked it, saw another hub, a 4 port one, show up, and then disappear.

The sounds of course, matched when it appeared and subsequently disappeared.

I then started looking at each of the cables connected on the back of my motherboard, and to shorten the story, found an older USB2.0 hub connected, which hadn't been in use for some time, it was from my previous build and replaced/augmented by a newer 3.0 powered usb hub that I bought ..

I pulled that older USB2.0 hub out, and that stopped my constant connect/disconnect sounds.

This had been happening for some time, but only in the past day did it start happening non-stop. I can only assume this older hub finally gave up the ghost, and since I wasn't using it anyway .. just tossed it in the trash.

Hopefully those two tools will help you, again the first one just to verify and find markers, the second to help ID each device, and you'll see something that you know "in that area" to hone in on.

Good luck!
