Question USB PORTS NOT WORKING

My laptop developed issues with USB ports one after the other and all now are not working. The ports can power, I can use my mouse, I can use my external SSD but this was after I changed windows. the ports cannot transfer any data and device managers says they have upto date drivers and no hardware changes. Any remedy.

What's your laptop model?
Have you checked if there are any chipset or USB drivers available from the manufacturer website?
