I recently switched cases from an Aerocool QX-2000 to an NZXT S340. The motherboard USB ports stopped working on the back of the computer except for two ports. I'm running mouse and keyboard off a USB hub and my external hard drive off the other port. My BIOS is up to date and the USB ports are enabled. What could this be?

System Specs:
CPU: i7-860 @ 2.8 GHz
GPU: GT 9600 (my 650 died, so this is the replacement until I buy a new card)
Motherboard: H55M-LE
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 1866 HyperX
SSD: 240 GB Kingston 300V
PSU: Antec 650W

Morning,

There are many reasons for that issue, it could be a motherboard issue (most likely) where the USB hub on your mobo has failed / short circuited and so is basically bust.

Or

It could be your power supply not drawing the correct amount of watts to your motherboard although the motherboard handles power anyway so from my perspective? It is likely a motherboard issue / failure, I have had issues like this before although before my computer wasn't booting up and usb ports on my motherboard were powered but not powered fully and so I could charge my phone in the slots but could not plug in a keyboard or mouse as too much power would be drawn than could be handled.

You could however see if you can goto Device Manager and...

You could however see if you can goto Device Manager and re-install the USB drivers, could be a software issue.

That was a motherboard issue so I feel it is the same for you.
