Hello friends, I am writing to you from Chile and using a translator, my strong point is not English, I will tell you that I have decided to restore an old PC with an Asus board, but it turns out that USB data transfer does not work anymore, but the ports do supply power. Apparently it is a recurring defect on this board model, could someone solve this problem???

Do verify that I found the correct User Manual.

Where did you read or otherwise find out about the recurring defect - source?

Have you tried other known working USB cables?

What PSU is installed: make, model, wattage, age, condition?

One possibility is that the PSU may not be fully functional and unable to provide the required power.
