USB Ports stopped working when reinstalled windows

My USB ports were working just fine. I had to reinstall windows. It's windows 7. Everything working just fine except the USB ports. It's an ASUS laptop and AMD motherboard...any idea plzzz? Thanks in advance.

what is the model number of the motherboard and/or the laptop? this should be on the back of the laptop. You can try this in the meanwhile http://www.iobit.com/driver-booster.php

Insert the manufacturer cd that came with your laptop. Install USB drivers from the cd. Best thing would be is to install all the drivers from that cd. This should do it

Thank for the reply wolffex! I actually don't have any CD. Any recommendation to find the drivers online? I searched for them. Asus and AMD, no luck, same windows disk installed in another pc working just fine, no problem with the USB ports!
