Hi,
I came home the other day and my keyboard and mouse were not working. After some troubleshooting i
Found that the only port that works is the usb 3.1 gen 2 port. So I'm able to use one device and access bios still. All the other usb ports supply power to whatever is plugged in but nothing works
In device manager under usb it shows
ASmedia USB 3.1 extensible controller 1.10 Microsoft
USB root hub (usb 3.0)
USB xHCI Compliant Host Controller
In the properties for the host controller it has
This device cannot start code 10
Operation Failed
I have a Asus Rog Strix Z370-f with Windows 10
So far I've tried uninstalling the driver, a clean install of Windows, wiping the cmos, upgrading bios, updating Windows and a few other things I've found from googling the host controller driver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
