USB ports stopped working

So the USB ports on my computer have stopped working. Both the ports on the front and back of the machine.

I have tried reseeding the RAM and GPU, but that has not solved anything.

If I enter the BIOS, the keyboard and mouse work, and I can select different options but as soon as I boot up the keyboard and mouse are not receiving any power (lights are dark on both). I can re plug the keyboard/mouse back in, and it will get power for 2-3 seconds before turning off again.

In the BIOS the usb ports are enabled.

sounds like damaged chipset drivers. can you boot from the windows iso installer ubs stick and go back to a roll back point a few days ago and see if the pc works???
