[SOLVED] USB "power cord"

Hi all,

I have a portable monitor - WIMAXIT 11.6 Inch Portable HDMI Monitor to be precise. It is powered by a micro USB that runs to a "normal sized" USB DC adapter. The cable that connects the monitor and the DC adapter is only three feet, so I need something longer. Would "any" micro USB to "normal sized" USB cord work? I don't know if USB "charging cables" are rated for different... currents? Voltage? Power cables are not my strong point obviously haha!

It’s probably a USB-C. Yes it is. They make 6foot version
