for legacy support reasons, I have to keep an old Windows Xp system with several laptops and large printers working and use a Belkin USB hub connected to a router, which works brilliant for windows XP and 10 - I now also have a macbookPro with catalina OS 10.15 and the network hub does acually still recognise the printer but it is impossible to connect to it; although HP has a catalina driver and it prints via USB, i found out that the developer says since OS 10.15 wireless printing will not work with the hub anymore, so, my question is:
is there any alternative device (maybe also combined router / print server) , which can connect the macbook / Os 10.15 Catalina as well as my legacy windows XP machines to one of two printers in a different room?
failing this, how do i connect the printer to one of the windows laptops, to be able to print from the mac via network printer sharing?
any help appreciated!
