USB problem: Not displaying full storage.

The other day I bought a 16gb flash drive and it was working fine, This morning I plugged in my flash drive and it said I only have 49mb of room, I tried formatting the drive but nothing changed, I tried cleaning the drive but now I can't format it. When I look in disk part I can see 14gb.

Hey Skreedles. You could try formatting the drive via Disk Management or you can try via CMD as well: http://en.kioskea.net/faq/9524-windows-how-to-format-a-usb-key-from-the-command-prompt
Some manufacturers offer formatting tools which could also come in handy.
But it might be just a faulty flash drive. I'd recommend that you try and format it with a different computer as well, just to see if the same thing happens. And remember to always "safely remove" any external storage devices you use before you disconnect them from the computer.
