I just built a new PC which is overall performing very well. However, when I first built it, I ran into random disconnecting and reconnecting of usb components (mouse and keyboard) and the occupaning sound of a device being connected. It stopped on its own for a month or so and now it is back with a vengence (yes, I have a ton of Corsair components in this build).

How do I figure out what the issue is and resolve it? This is driving me nuts!

Thanks for any advice!

Usually it's caused by weak operational USB hub. Either by weak electricity current, or poor USB hub. Usually caused by deteriorating/defective USB hub or deteriorating power supply. Try plugging into backside motherboard USB. It has better electricity current.
