USB receivers re-purpose

I have a Microsoft Arc small portable keyboard. I lost the receiver. Is there any way to re-purpose another receiver to pair with this keyboard?

Depends on what type it is. If it's a true bluetooth receiver it's not too difficult, but if it's IR or low frequency radio, then no, you'll have to order a new receiver from microsoft or buy a new mouse. That goes for most devices.

Although it is technically possible to connect to those devices if you are good with making electronics, it's not recommended and not cheaper unless you have the required components.
