Hi!

I need to add more usb port to my computer. I found a internal NZXT hub (http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-IU01-Internal-Expansion-Black/dp/B0031ESKJA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359742122&sr=8-1&keywords=nzxt+usb). I like it because it's internal. My only concern is about speed of usb. It conects to usb 2.0, the speed will be the same or it will share the speed? (I will use it for periferials and a firewire port.)
Thanks!

That's a component for building outside your case, in my opinion. It's a powered USB hub, and your throughput will be limited to one USB lane.

If your machine is a desktop, you can get drop-in USB cards for less than the price on the thing you linked to. If your machine is a notebook, that's another issue. Your choices are a USB hub or some sort of plug-in card, like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16839113010 . Note that that one is USB 3.0.

So what kind of machine do you have?

I1ve a desktop. It's a internal Usb expansantion (I didn't know if hub have the same meaning...). I want to use it inside the case... My problem is about the speed..

So if you want better speed, instead of using what is basically a hub, will have to be connected to an existing USB port, and finding a place for it, I think that you should get a USB controller card that will give you additional ports, each with dedicated full USB speed.

How do you intend to connect a firewire port to a usb expander, by the way? One of us, at least one of us, is confused.

It sounds to me like your existing machine has one USB port and you want to attach multiple USB devices to that port. Any way of doing that will limit the aggregate speed to the speed of one USB port, which is why I recommend installing a controller with more ports.
