Hey guys,

I recently purchased a patriot supersonic rage 2, and while the drive was great for large file transfers, it suffered a lot when deleting or copying ISO files from pc's to the memory stick or vice versa. it was okay while in ISO form, but when using it to copy an unpackaged ISO the write speeds were around 300kbps.

I have returned the drive as its not fit for my needs.

I am now looking at an alternative.

the 3 i've found are as below:

SanDisk Extreme Pro 128 GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive @ £66

SanDisk Extreme PRO 128 GB Solid State Flash Drive, USB 3.1(Gen 1) @ £85

SanDisk Extreme 128 GB USB Flash Drive USB 3.0 @ £55

which of the above would be the best for windows installations and transferring expanded iso files from machine to machine? i am inclined to say it will be the £85 model which is an solid state flash drive - is this a true SSD?

thanks guys.

Solution
i have a 64gb one of the last in your list

no complaints with it for mixed file transfer or installing windows from

though going by price alone the £85 one likely will be the best since those are all sandisk and same size kind of stands to reason the most expensive should be best/fastest
