Hi! I have just bought a 16gb USB pendrive.
I can't write movies on it above 480p. It does not let me copy a 720p or 1080p movie on it,
it gives an error ''Please remove the write protection!", but since this does not occur on 480p or below, i don't know why does this happen. Tried modifying the registry, tried bunch of cmd commands, and more things, but none of them did work out. Any support is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Solution
The error you see likely means you can't write to the drive, not necessarily that it is write protected.
The resolution of video won't matter, but file size can.
The stick is probably formatted as FAT32, which has a maximum file size of 2GB.
You could reformat as NTFS and use it on a PC for larger files, but this may not work with some other devices.

Except that he can write some files but not others. USB drives with physical switches are exceedingly rare.

This is very likely the issue.

This did help me out, the file system was FAT32 as u said, but i didn't know it can't handle file sizes above 2GB.
Got to look after these stuff a little bit more accurate
