So I have a sony s-series walkman. Today I decided to format it using its own formatter and put new music on it. Ok connect it to the computer but nothing pops up. Before the only problem I had with my walkman and fedora 14 was getting audio programs(banshee etc) to see it. This is taken from tail -f messages

I am truly lost as to what could cause this to happen. I can't check the log file as for some reason my computer stopped taking log file on 8/21/11. It seems to me that this is how it happened
1.) A few days ago I added to blacklist, to get banshee to see it.
2.) Nothing happened from 1 Banshee still didn't see it and I went back to drag in drop in file system

1wk later

3.) I format the walkman
3.) plug in to desktop to not be recognized
4.) delete blacklist file I created in 1
5.) reboot
6.) Same problem

So any ideas? Apparently I'm the first to have this problem as no searches turned up anything close to my situation. I'll try search how to un-ignore a device... But since I have class in the morning I can't spent too much time on this tonight(this morning rather).
