Tjhis: " i am not sure about format that my stereo expecting"

Start with the stereo's User Guide/Manual to look for the expected format.

Or visit the manufacturer's website. Be very sure that you correctly identify the stereo via model number, version number, part number, even serial number.

And here is a link that provides some additional background information:

If the Speranza a113 still has its' original stereo - check the car's User Guide/Manual.

If the installed stereo is a third party product then visit the manufacturer's website.

Maybe visit a nearby dealer or car stereo shop: they may be able to provide the information.

Or post the stereo's make and model into this thread.

Someone may be able to provide the necessary formatting information. Or confirm that FAT should be acceptable. Versus some other formatting option(s).

Found a manual: https://www.motor-talk.de/forum/aktion/Attachment.html?attachmentId=676789

Doesn't say anything about the usb. I'm willing to bet it has to be FAT32. Reformat the drive and put only 1 song on it, something that isn't a really long filename. See if that works. If it does, then it might be stuck reading either a very long name or the filename has improper characters.

When I installed an ACM into my older jag so I could support usb playback, the files on the usb had to follow a certain file structure. There was a software tool that would take the drive and reorganize the files into its readable file structure. It's possible yours is the same.

I've never heard of a Speranza before, but you can try asking the dealership.
