Usb to 3.5mm amplifier for home office

I currently have to have a usb headset for my home office and I am using my sennheiser game one headset plugged into a cheap 3.5 to USB adapter. The problem is it doesn't get loud enough. I need a way to amplify the sound and still be able to use the mic and headset as a usb headset. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Why not get the Creative G5 ? Bit pricy, but it should handle the G4ME series sets just fine

Would it show up as a usb device under the playback/recording devices? my work needs a usb headset so I would use that but I am just not sure how external sound cards work

It would show up like any other soundcard. Works 100% in PC and PS4, but needs optical audio in for XBO and other consoles (until MS fixes their inability to use USB audio devices... Win 10 has the code done right already)

i currently have sound blaster z in my pc that drives my speakers and other headset but I am trying to get a solution for work. In my playback devices right now I have sound blaster z spdif and sound blaster z speakers and generic sub audio source. I use the generic sub audio for work. If I used an external sound card that connected through sub would it show as a sub device or something else?

The G5/E5 would work just like any other soundcard when connected to USB. Literally no difference to your soundblaster Z. It will not replace anything, just be an extra output added to the list
