Question USB to DVI adaptar stucked on 30Hz

Hi,

Yesterday I got myself the Digitus DA-70842 adapter for my second monitor, a 1920x1080 60hz one.
I installed the fl2000 driver with it correctly. I tried all kind of drivers with at the moment the latest version.

But whatever i try I am stucked with this error:

I have an 1050ti for my main screen with an AMD 2700x.
The display is working perfectly fine with the DVI cable directly connected to the videocard, and I get the same error when I change my display to 30hz.


I tried to search all over Google, but couldn't find something.
The producer still needs to reply.

Please help this noob <3 How do I get this working?

Connect second monitor to your graphics card. It has multile video outputs.
There is no need to use USB to DVI adapter.

What is manufacturer/model name of your GTX 1050 ti and monitors?

Yes I have it at the moment connected to the videocard, but for cable management reasons I would have to go to usb.

When you use USB you are adding a slow second video card to the system, those things are laggy even for normal use often. Cable management does not really make sense here, you still need a cable going form the USB card, why would it matter if it's on the USB card or on the nVidia card?

I have a 3 meter long usb 3.0 cable going to a cable box in my desk and a USB 3.0 powered hub. There all the usb equipment goes further, so not only the video screen, but also other usb devices.

I also tried the adapter alone in one of the USB 3.0 ports, but same result.
They said that the adapter should handel 1080p 60hz.

I can't sort out how you have things connected. So this USB video adapter is running off a USB hub, not on the computer directly? What is connected to the other devices should not matter, the best thing to do is have the screen connected to the video card, you will actually have it working and will be using the full speed of the video card instead of a very slow USB one.

You would have to sort out with the vendor of the video card what the issue may be, or just use the monitor connected to the video card which looks to work.
