USB to Ethernet

My lAN internet speed is around 400-500Mbps (Mega-bits). However my laptop does not have an ethernet port. Will a USB type A (USB 3.1 Gen 1 port) to ethernet connector be able to deliver the internet speed!

Most can easily do full duplex gigabit. They tend to put more cpu load on your machine than actual ethernet but it is not significant for most modern machine.

Should. But I suggest don't run out and buy the cheapest u can find, stay with known brands like Belkin etc. What exact laptop is this without ethernet? A USB3 dangle won't do u any good if the laptop USB isn't version 3.
