Question usb to rca?

I play mp3's out of my laptop's headphone jack into my Mackie ProFX12 mixer (RCA input) via a 1/8"plug to L/R RCA cable.
The laptop jack is busted only giving me the left channel.
Can I get around that by playing music through the laptop USB into the mixers RCA inputs with a USB to RCA cable?
