Hello.

My laptop's HD is damaged (shows 303 and 305 error in hard disk test). Can I use a USB (32gb usb3.0 sandisk) in the HD slot and use as an SSD, if I get all the necessary connectors to do so. If so what are the needed connectors?will a sata male to usb female work?

HP Pavilion DV6-6000se

No, you can't, not easily anyway. You can get an SATA to USB adapter like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Dual-USB-2-0-to-SATA-15-7-Pin-Data-and-Power-Cable-Adapter-For-2/32500177723.html?spm=2114.40010508.4.98.fYLN1C to access your files. As far as I know there is no adapter for other way around, USB stick to SATA port in a computer.
If you don't have to use Windows you can always use a live Linux with persistence on a USB stick. A Linux like Mint for instance is very good thing to run from USB.
You can find most any Linux here: https://distrowatch.com/
http://www.techspot.com/downloads/5488-linuxlive-usb-creator.html can do that from any windows computer.

Thanks

I am using Linux Mint 17.1 at the moment, a live version of it...
somehow cant get to boot an installed version of it...
bad luck

i installed on another usb (but it would boot)
luckily, i was able to recover the data from the drive
