[SOLVED] usb type C 2.4ghz wireless mouse that has a low profile usb c dongle?

Does anyone have experience with a usb type C 2.4ghz wireless mouse that has a low profile usb c dongle? They all seem to be longer than the usb A. Is this because part of the radio is built into the Type A plug whereas they can't build that into the typ-c plug? I would assume the entire radio is built on the outside of the type A plug not the USB connector itself.

those tiny little usb A things are USB 1.0
usb 2.0 or better requires to have shield, which is bulky, usb C has minimum of usb 2.0
it doesnt matter if there is a cable or not attached to that usb plug, shield is a must
