Hi, can I use a monitor at 1440p 165hz with my laptop?

These are the laptop specs:
HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk1035nr
1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (DisplayPort™ 1.4).
1 HDMI 2.0; 1 RJ-45.

Monitor specs:
HDMI 2.0
DP 1.4

Thanks!

It should be possible but sadly there's not much info given in your laptop's service manual;

The reason I'm showing doubt on the matter is due to the fact that laptop makers can artificially limit how much their ports can output. You do have HDMI 2.0 and DP1.4 which should be good enough for 165Hz at 1440p.

If you plan on gaming on an external panel while on that laptop, ditch the idea.
