When do you think we'll see cases with the new USB type-C connection on the front panel? Or is that not going to happen since the type-C cables are active (don't know whether that makes a difference)? Googling doesn't seem to give any results.

i dont think that USB-C is going to get to cases, but the USB 3.1 standard will. type-c will come to the back IO panels of motherboards.

Oh it will for sure get to cases, but whether or not motherboard manufacturers are working on a universal adapter as they did with USB 3.0 remains to be seen.
