I am going to buy Asus prime h270 plus mobo and Silver Stone RL-05 cpu case.
The problem is that case has a usb type C port but mobo doesn't have usb type C header. Will usb type c port work with mobo's 3.1 header?

The Asus Prime H270 Plus doesn't have a true USB3.1 header - only 2x USB3.1 Gen1 (which is just a marketing term for the good old USB 3.0). A true USB3.1 is often advertised as USB3.1 Gen2.

USB3.1 (Gen2) headers on a motherboard looks like this:

What your motherboard has are 2x USB3.0 (i.e., "USB3.1 Gen1") 19-pin headers like this:

Your Silverstone RL-05 does have 1x USB Type-C port (and 2x USB Type-A ports) at the front panel, but, all these ports are USB3.0 Type-C (none are USB3.1). So, your case will come with 2x USB3.0 (19-pin) female cables:

(Shown in the photo are the 2x USB3.0 female cables to connect to your motherboard's 2x USB3.0 headers - these are for the 2x USB3.0 Type-A and 1x USB3.0 Type-C ports. The other cable in the photo is the HD Audio cable - this is for the Audio and Mic ports)

So, just plug in the 2x USB3.0 female cables that come with your Silverstone RL05 case to your Asus Prime H270 Plus motherboard's 2x USB3.0 (i.e., USB3.1 Gen1) internal headers and you are all set.

I have changed my mind and I will be getting "asus prime h270 pro" which has 2 usb 3.1 gen2 ports at the back.So can you suggest any cheap usb 3.1 gen2 type-A front panel?
