Hi, I have a 2.5 inch IDE HDD that I use via a USB adapter, in this HDD there are various Linux distributions and various utilities that I'm going to use on an infected computer.
To prevent the HDD from getting infected I set it read-only via cmd.
I cannot set it read-only on a physical level (as in SD cards where a switch is present) because there is no switch.
Is there any chance that it will be infected even if I set it read-only?
