USB vs. Internal PCI card

I use a linksys wireless router. What are the pros and cons of using a USB network adapter vs. an internal wireless PCI card.

I don't know by experience, but I've always heard that a NIC is faster than USB. I use a NIC and it works well for me.

Go with a wireless USB 2.0 network adapter. The problem with the internal wireless cards is they don't allow you the freedom of moving the adapter around to find the best reception in the immediate area. With the USB connection, you'll be able to find the sweet spot by moving the adapter around while looking at the signal strength/quality meter on your computer (via the connection utility).
