Does USB 2.0 severely limit what a good WiFi adapter can deliver? What's the cap on a USB 2.0 port as far as mbps? I ordered an adapter for a friend's PC, he SHOULD be getting about 200 mbps download speed, but his PC only has USB 2.0 ports. The adapter hasn't arrived yet, is this gonna be a concern? Thanks!

Solution
Usb 2.0 has a max speed of 480Mb/s. He won’t reach the full 200 even so because of wireless drop off. Regardless, the device won’t hold him back.

Alright cool thanks! Yeah I do expect the wireless drop off to be a factor, his current built in WiFi adapter is getting 15mbps and only supports 2.4Ghz, so it's an upgrade even still lol Thanks!
