Question USB Wifi adapter malfunctions

Sometimes whenever I start my computer windows 10 says my usb wifi adapter malfunctions. When it does that I cannot connect to the internet.
Whenever I open the wifi icon it shows something like this: https://prnt.sc/t4jb5v
Whenever I go to device manager the driver has a yellow exclamation mark. Every time it malfunctions it also creates duplicates of the same drivers. For example: driver, driver #2, driver #3 etc. It hasn't surpassed driver #3. Also it request to install stuff which i think is the duplicate drivers. I forgot to mention, my theory is that it only malfunctions if it uses one of the duplicate drivers instead of the original.

When the glitch happens today I troubleshooted and got:

The Realtek RTL8192EU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-related problems

A USB adapter would be would be plugged into a USB port either on the front or back of the PC, or on a laptop on the side), It's also possible the Wifi adapter is an internal card being falsely identified as a USB adapter. What is the make and model of your PC?

Model: HP ProDesk 400 G1 MT. Adapter is plugged into the front of my pc.

Unplug the USB and look at it.

Confirm you went to the linked site, downloaded the Windows driver, unzipped the driver and then installed it using the driver install program?

If you knew the manufacturer of the USB and downloaded the driver from their website, why did you not mention this before?

I found this. It is a download of the original CD in ISO form for your adapter (you will not need a CD player to make it work) . https://archive.org/details/driver_201710 Once you download the ISO, simply doubleclick on it and Window 10 will create a virtual optical player that will give you access to the files.

Uninstall the current driver, then double click on the program file which should install the driver.

@onespeedbiker do you think it will make a difference. Thanks a lot for putting your time and effort into this. This issue has been driving me nuts for a while.

Sometimes the updated drivers are better and sometimes they are problematic; you have tried the new drivers and they didn't work. This is the original driver for the adapter, if it doesn't work it's time to move on.

Well it takes days to see if it works or not. Also I think sometimes it disables itself which is why it acts like that.

FYI, many of these USB adapters use Realtec drivers, so just because the USB does not say Realtec, it may use a Realtec driver and be identified as such in the Device Manager
