So I'm using a regular HP laptop with some decent specs for low end gaming. Like an i5 with Amd r5 m330. The thing is my laptop only detects 2.4ghz so I want to use the 5ghz because people in my house don't really use it and it's like 1MB/s difference in speed so yea. So should I buy a usb dongle for 5ghz? And can I even get it for less than 25USD? I don't even checked what my laptop's network adapter specs but it must have shown the 5ghz one if it supports it, right? Thank you so much in advance.

Might want to mention the model of your HP laptop. An SKU should help us two fold. Also might want to see what the wireless adapter in your laptop is...? If it's swappable, you can maintain the sleek form factor of your laptop and yet gain access to the 5GHz antenna.
