Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my usb wifi adaptor. If i plug it into my front usb ports it works fine, but when i try and use it in the motherboard usb ports (I've tried 2.0 and 3.0 ports) it has limited connectivity and I can't access the internet. How would I fix this?
I've tried;
installing the wifi software from the disc I received with it (it installs the drivers too).
Installing JUST the driver from the cd without the software.
uninstalling both.
Updating USB drivers.
...
Nothing seems to work. I would prefer not to use it in the front case ports.
Please help guys, thanks. :)

try turning your tower around and see if, when it's facing you, you have wifi. i suspect the problem is the location. if you don't have a great signal putting it on the back of a computer case will probably be enough to block the signal to the wifi completely... as computer cases are awesome for screwing with broadcast signals. this is why they sell usb wifi nics with an extension cord and external mount.
