Question USB WiFi Reveiver vs PCIe Wifi Card

Hi guys,

I'm currently using a USB WiFi Receiver for my PC. Just wondering, if I switch to PCIe WiFi card instead, will it be better in terms of signal receiving and speed? Anyway, my router sits on the same desk with my pc.

I once felt like wifi is faster compared to when using my LAN cable. I'm not sure if that's just my feeling, though.

Oh goodness no.
Ethernet cable is 1gb, all the time, every time. Solid, stable, fast.
No lag, no interference, nada.

WiFi is....much less than that.

Of course...assuming a non crappy Cat5e cable.
