usb Wireless Adapter

I have a TPlink TL-WN722N wireless usb adapter, When I plug the adapter into a windows machine a green led lights up on the adapter indicating that its working but when I plug it into my Kali Linux machine the green light doesn't turn on is there a way I can fix this??

Sounds like you need the proper drivers loaded for your linux. Not all devices have drivers but they would be on tplinks site if they exist.

With the adapter it came with a driver install disc I extracted the files but I don't know how to install them
