USB2 problem

How do i activate the USB2 port on an AOC 202 Monitor model 2036Sa running Windows 7

is it a powered usb port?

if not you need an input usb cable from the pc to the monitor to power the output usb--thats how it works on my samsung t240 monitor

have read the user manual--very basic manual but it only mentions a downstream usb port--it may only run low power usb devices--what are you trying to run off it?

and do you have the monitor driver installed as it may do something to enable the usb port
