USBs aren't working

I recently built a new rig and I haven't used it much since it has no internet, but I decided to turn in on today and to my surprise two of the USB ports aren't working. These ports are one of those case connectors plugged in to the mobo. It's strange since the USB ports right next to it are working just fine. I have a p8z68-v pro running an i5 2500k.

Are you sure that you have those f panel cables plugged in to the correct ports that asus wants you to? Check mobo manual again, and to get internet make sure you have the drivers installed from the disk that they give you.

I'm 100% sure they are plugged in to the right ports. When I first got the system running they were both working fine and now after about 2 weeks of not using it this happens. I had the bios updated to the most recent before I moved it away from the modem.
