My pc currently has been disconnecting my USBs and then reconnecting right after. I am currently running windows 10. Sometimes my USBs do not reconnect . I mostly notice my mouse and wireless network adapter is the one that shuts off and reconnects .
What I have tried
- going to device manager and uninstalling "VIA USB 3.0 extensible host controller - 1.0 (microsoft)
- made sure all power management options are unchecked for each
- made sure all drivers are updated and windows is updated
What are connected into all my ports
Hdmi port :
monitor
VGA port:
2nd monitor
USB 2.0 ports :
-logitech 920 webcam
- blue yeti mic
-keyboard
USB 3.0 ports:
- Elgato HD 60s
- mouse
-wireless network adapter.
is it possible for the reason it keeps disconnecting is because of too many usbs plugged in ??
Should i get a powered USB hub to relieve stress on the power supply ??
I currently have a
gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3
, I will be upgrading between october to november . but for now i want to find a solution so I can give this build to my parents since they are still using a pc with vista
