[SOLVED] USBs only work in bios.

My keyboard and mouse work perfectly fine in bios, but stop working after it tries to boot anything. I thought I just needed a new Windows install, but I ran a blank ssd and disk drive with an install cd, and the USBs still didn't work. I can't even install the new version because it stops at the install menu.

I updated my installation to Windows 10 using the old computer and everything seems to work. My soul however, is eternally shattered.

Start by listing all the hardware you have and which OS you are trying to load.

What hardware, what windows?

Windows 7 for example doesn't have USB drivers, when installing on newer hardware.

With support for Windows 7 ending in about a month, I really don't recommend a brand new build with Windows 7.
An X570 is not compatible with Windows 7 directly. You have to add to the Windows installer -- https://www.overclock.net/forum/13-...pport-matisse-ryzen-3000-zen-2-x370-x470.html

You should give up and use Windows 10, IMO.
