Use 1 fan instead of 2

I have a case with 2 fans but I have only 1 fan header on the mobo. Is it alright if I use the back fan and then connect the other later on once I get a fan splitter or molex to 3 pin fan? Also what do you prefer, molex to 3 pin or fan splitter?

Depends on your setup, but typically one fan will be OK.

If the motherboard will handle the load, the splitter would be nicer as then you can let the motherboard control fan speeds. With a molex adapter the fans will just run full speed all the time.
