Use both Geforce gtx and amd Amd Radeon

A while ago I replaced my Geforce gtx 660 with and AMD RX 470.
I was now wondering if I could have them both plugged into my motherboard and while doing so, whether they would both work in combination.

You could have both plugged in if your board has enough PCIe x16 slots. However you can't make them work together as in combining their power on single screen. They could be used to run multiple screens though, with each card running one or more monitors.

You can have them running different screens if you want. Cant really combine them both for more gpu power though (except for possibly Ashes of the Singularity, which supports DX12 multi GPU).
