use dlink dsl 2750u as repeater

i currently have an active internet connection on my dlink ac750 dual band router in the living room. but since my room is far away i am not able to recieve proper wifi signal therefore i saw some wifi range repeater and extender options but the catch is that in my room there is no phone line/broadband connection point and i have a spare wireless dlink dsl 2750u n300 adsl2+ router laying around. can i do something with that?

Unless it has that feature it can only be used as a router or AP. A repeater is a special feature most devices do not have. A solution sometimes is to load third party firmware but your device having a DSL modem means likely there is no alternate firmware support.

I would consider powerline devices. Buy the av2 1200 versions, they work much better than the older av200 and av500 units.
