Use of Styrofoam to seal around radiator and fans

Hi all,

I recently just put my h100 inside my antec 900 case, but there was gaps along the edges of the radiator. Is it safe to fill that gap with the Styrofoam that came with some of the parts? It would only touch the side of the radiators and fans.

What about using cardboard wrapped in electrical tape? Or just cardboard?

I just think doing patches like that looks tacky on a nice setup.

isnt that a defect i would return it. Like the eternal champion said (lol) it'll look ugly

I'd like to just fill the gap and prevent dust from getting around the radiator/fans. Any other ideas to plug the 1/2 inch gap that surrounds the radiator/fans? Maybe just adding a filter to the front mesh of the case should help?

could you post a pic so we could get a idea of what you could do maybe you could use the styrofoam and i paint it black?

nice cooler you should be getting great temps.. I see styrafoam is in place it shouldnt damage anything if it has a windows paint sytrafoam black if not its good it wont hurt temps.

update : if stryafoam looks bad
