Use two GPU's NOT in SLI for different things?

Could I use one of my gtx 660's to run say a game and a gtx 645 for like netflix? the motherboard of the rig they're going in doesn't support SLI, but i want to be able to game on it and stream netflix or something of the sort at the same time. Possible? How to do it if it is?

Streaming netflix is not intense enough to drop your gaming experience on the GTX660, you could run both those tasks on the one.
But yes, it is possible if :

A. You have a second PCI-e (full length) slot.
B. Your power supply is up for the task.

He's not going to be trying to game AND watch Netflix on the same display, he'll have two have separate displays to do both things at once, so he won't need to disconnect anything and he won't need to worry about connecting cables to "active" GPUs, it will already be active.

I know you're trying to be helpful, but the information you're trying to give isn't correct.

2 monitors, 1 to each graphics card, 1 running netflix, 1 running games, PERFECTLY possible.

It will work fine, in fact, if you have two cards that support dual displays on each card, you could have four monitors, with each card driving two displays at the same time. You would need to have two compatible slots on the motherboard and a PSU capable of handling the load of both cards though. AND, a cpu that can handle the demand of two cards of whatever level you are trying to use.
