Hello,
I am building my budget pc for first time.
and I don't want to spend too much money.
I am going to buy B450M mortar max and Ryzen 3100
I bought CV550 corsair psu
But I am not sure about graphic card.
I am getting used 1060 6gb around Rs.9000
and new 1650 super 4gb around Rs.15000

Both have very much similar performance.
I intend to use this pc for at least next 4 years.
So should I consider 1060 6gb using for next 4 years?
Game graphics is not too much concerned for me
I just want the graphic card that will at least run all the games above 40fps for next 4 years at medium or slightly low setting.

So my question is 1650 super is worth spending money?

Can someone please help me make decision?

Solution
They are very close to each other in performance. OVERALL the 1650 Super edges out the 1060 6GB very slightly.

  • 1060 6GB advantages (used)
    • 6GB VRAM may give it an advantage in a few games where the 4GB VGRAM of the 1650 Super might be a problem
    • Lower price
  • 1650 Super advantages
    • New
    • Full warranty
    • Lower power consumption
    • Performs slightly better (overall) than the 1060 6GB
I would go with the 1650 Super.

Thanks for reply.
I don't understand any software part.
But,
Does 1650 super has any other advantages like newer directx support and better long term driver support?
