The seller told me he used it for 5 months. I did the paperclip test, and saw or heard nothing out of the ordinary. Now can I use it in my gaming system and what are the chances of it frying my components?

All of those are available in 650 watt versions should you wish to have extra headroom for more powerful future upgrades, but a 550 will do the job for your current specs.Thanks!
