[SOLVED] Used AM4 Platforms or New LGA 1200?

Hello guys, I need some advice.
I want to build a secondary rig, which one is better between these two proc + mobo combo in terms of upgradeability as I'm already have the other components: 16gb ddr4 2666mhz/deepcool ice edge mini fs v2/rx 470 4gb/256GB SSD/600W Superflower PSU.

Ryzen 3 1200 + ASRock B450M Steel Legend

Or

$155 (New)
Core i3-10105F + MSI H510M-A PRO

My main rig is a Ryzen 5 3600 + RTX 3060 Ti

R3 1200 + B450M SL. you could upgrade it to a Ryzen 5 5500 if you want a cheap Zen 3 cpu, but godly imc for ram overclocking, or any 5000 series cpu/apu as you wish. B450M SL still holds up pretty good these days, i've done 4133 C18 with pretty tight timings on the board on a 5600G, very nice

Hi, thanks for the reply. That's what I thought, I can overclock the ram with B450 chipset, and update the BIOS for future upgrade path.
